Upad will organise for a qualified Gas Safety Registered Engineer to fully inspect the gas meter, pipework and all gas appliances ensuring they are safe and legally compliant.

Your Gas Safety Certificate is required to be updated each year by law.

• Step 1: Click ‘Order Gas Safety Certificate’ to get started. Please ensure we have the correct property details
• Step 2: Checkout and make a payment for your Gas Safety Inspection
• Step 3: We will provide an invoice for your Gas Safety Registered Inspection. You can use this to claim back on tax
• Step 4: Upad will instruct our Gas Safe Registered Engineer to contact you to fix an appointment
• Step 5: Post a successful inspection Upad will issue you a gas safety certificate which we will also keep on file should you ever need another copy in the future

EPCs also outline information about the properties potential energy cost with a rating ‘A’ representing those most efficient, right through to ‘G’ for those properties most inefficient.

• Step 1: Click ‘Order EPC (Energy Performance Certificate)’ to get started. Ensure we have the correct property details
• Step 2: Step 2: Checkout and make payment for your Energy Performance Check. We will provide you with an invoice you can claim tax back on
• Step 3: Our local domestic energy assessor will be in touch within 24 hours of instruction to arrange an appointment at a time which suits
• Step 4: Once completed we will include your EPC rating within your property advert. (We will also send over the full document and store it should you ever need a copy in the future)

Upad recommend carrying out PAT tests for greater landlord and future tenant’s peace of mind. We organise the PAT test and ensure it is completed by a qualified electrician.
